Psalm 1 Declarations

Greetings Saints! It's a good day to declare some things. I thought Psalms 1 would be a great place to start. Let's declare a thing y'all!

Repeat as often as you like until it's in your soul.

I declare I will not heed the advice of the wicked and those who sin against God.

I declare I will delight in and meditate on the law of the Lord night and day. For His laws are trustworthy.

I declare I will be like a tree planted by the river banks bearing fruit each season. Nothing I do will be wasted but I will prosper in everything I do.

I declare I am not like the wicked, who are like worthless chaff that is scattered by the wind and who will be condemned at the time of judgment.

I declare that I am counted righteous by the blood of Christ Jesus, my Lord and Savior.

I declare these things in the name of Christ Jesus!

Now go have yourself an amazing day & week!

Child Born - Son Given (Merry Christ-mas)

For a child is born to us,a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called:Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 NLT

Let just say, oh what a Merry Christ-mas day it is! Today is the day we celebrate the most important births ever! The birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. No, the Bible doesn't give the actual day, but we know that it took place. Nonetheless, today is the day that we recognize the Savior of the world. He was a man child born to Mary and most importantly, He is the only Son of God. He is to be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. He is the Messiah, the Christ, who came to save the world from sin. His birth brought us and taught us how to live a sinless life and bear the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, kindness, patience, goodness and faithfulness. His birth was the first step in the redemption of our lives. And so, we celebrate the birth and life of Christ Jesus, the child born and the Son given.

As you enjoy your day, reflect back on the reason for the season! Give the gift of love! For God so loved us that He gave His only Son for our sins! Remember, the LIFE!!

Have a very Merry Christ-mas!

Born to Create

Marvelous morning to you all! Today is the last Monday of the decade! I don't know if you are where you want to be in life. But what I do know is that it is not to late for you to get started. Did you know that you were "born to create"? You were born to create a prosperous life that will benefit the Kingdom of God. A life that allows you to walk in and fulfill the purpose you were created.

First, let me remind you of something. You were created by Elohim, the Creator God. The One who created the heavens and the earth out of nothing. He created you in His image. He is not only with you but He is in you. God created you to create! In you are talents and skills that no one else may possess. And with these you are to create in the earth those things that God has placed on your heart and in your spirit. Stop sitting on your purpose and the vision God has given you!

Second, God is the visionary behind your vision and purpose. So, in your efforts to create the world that will have you walking and in pursuit of fulfilling your purpose, you will need to talk to your Creator. Don't prolong the matter by doing things your way. You didn't create yourself, so you don't know why your were created. Talk to God, read and meditate on His word. He is ready and waiting to help you to create what you were "born to create"!

Now, get up! Don't wait until 2020! Start dreaming again! Get inspired! You were created to influence! Imagine the best! Greater is coming!

More Than You Can Bare?

Happy Monday! Smile. you look so much better, plus it makes you feel better. It's going to be a great day and an amazing new week. This is Your Spiritual Tea!

Many of us have so much on or plate, it's hard to decide what to eat first. We get a headache just thinking about it all. Did God say that he wouldn't  give us more than we can bare? I am not quite so sure about that. But if He did, can someone please show me in His word? You see, we were built to handle all that has been put on our plate. You and I were born for this! But God did say that He would not allow us to be tempted passed our ability to stand. He did say if and when we are presented with hardship or temptations, He will show us a way out so that we can endure. So, don't let no one tell you God won't give you more than you can bare. It's not true Scripture. But He knows exactly what and how much you can manage. He will be there to see you through to victory.

These tests are preparing you for your testimonies. Notice both words are plural, meaning multiple. That's right, as long as you breath on earth, you will go through many tests.  My suggestion is that you seek God before, during and after each test. He got you! He will give you strength to bare it all!

F.R.E.E. Yourself!

Good Monday morning to you all! We have less than a month before the decade arrives. Today, we are going to F.R.E.E ourselves. Forget the past. Relax in the moment. Expect God's favor. Enjoy life. When we live in the past by constantly reminding ourselves of the things we did or didn't do, we will continue to live in those terrible moments. It's time to stop reliving those events. We are simply allowing our past to hold us bondage. We are allowing people from our past to have a hold on us. Today, we are here to let it all go. Right now, in this moment, our past can no longer stop us from moving towards the future God has planned for us. A future with a hope. No longer will the person(s) who hurt us in the past affect how we feel or live.

Today, we release all anger, self-doubt, hate, depression and low esteem. We are the righteous of God through Christ Jesus who died that we may be set free. Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly. We are Forgetting the Past. We are Relaxing in the Moment. We are Expecting God's Favor. We are Enjoying Life Abundantly! We are F. R. E. E.!

Hallelujah and glory to God!

Have a marvelous Monday & an awesome week!

One Love,

Valerie

He Stills Loves Me

What a MAGNIFICENT Monday it is going to be!! Can y'all feel it? This post was inspired by the song that Beyonce sings with Walter William, Sr. I' am so grateful that God still loves me. When I heard the song, it immediately took me to the Scripture in Romans 8. It reminded me of what God's word says about His love for me. I can steal or kill and God will still love me because of His Son. He will still love me because it is His nature. He will still love me because I am His child. He will still love me because God is Love. I can commit adultery, no, I'm not telling you to do that, and He will still have the same unconditional love for me.

Romans 8:35 ask the question, if anything can separate us from the Love of Christ? Absolutely nothing can or ever will! Now check out what verse 38 says, "Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love." Let me tell you that nothing you can do can remove the love God has for you; not even the powers of hell can come between you and God's love for you. This makes my soul rejoice and increases my faith in Jesus. I can go through my week knowing there's nothing I can do to make God stop loving me. There's nothing created, seen or unseen that can interfere with God's love for me. I'm so humbly grateful, that despite my attitude or behavior, He still loves me!

Now, go have yourself an amazing week, knowing that God will forever love you!

One Love,

Valerie

Thankful for the Word (Jesus)!

Happy Thanksgiving day to you all! I pray that you are right where you need to be and are enjoying this awesome holiday! This is a special post as you can guess, since I normally post on Mondays. But I felt compelled to post about being thankful for the Word. We celebrate this season of thanks for all but a few days, even though we say "season". Honestly, we should be thankful every single day we are alive. I read somewhere that "One of the greatest expressions of thankfulness is knowing and experiencing the power of the Word of God in our lives". Think about that for a moment.

You see the above list of some things we can be thankful for everyday such as, our health, home, family, friends, food, jobs, etc. But none of these things are of much value when it comes to the Word of God. Have you had a moment to think about the power of the Word of God? This could be a long post on this subject. But for the sake of time I'll be brief. You see, we should be thankful for the promises God made us through His Word. We should be thankful that God will never break His promise. We should be thankful that here in the USA we do not have to hide our faith in God and Jesus. We can freely read the Bible, praise and worship God and not feel threaten at all. We should be thankful that our lives are transformed through the Word. We should be thankful for the truth-standing of the Word of God that says everything we need is in God through Christ Jesus.

The Word of God has the power to transform our minds and align it with the heart of God. I encourage you to get into His word and find out for yourself, if you haven't already.

Finally, be thankful, there is power in the Word of God (Jesus)! I thank God for Jesus!

ENJOY YOUR THANKSGIVING!

Oh, Give Thanks!!

Happy Monday everyone! It's a great day to be thankful! Psalms 136:26 says "Oh, give thanks to the God of heaven! For His mercy endures forever." Let us give thanks to God for His daily dose of mercy that never ends. What does it mean to give mercy? It means to not react with revenge, punishment or vengeance. God continuously extends His mercy to us because that is just the kind of God He is. One of love and compassion for His children. Children who has the ability to mess up here and there in many different ways. He knows that and so He chooses to not hold it against us. He is the God of mercy! For His mercy endures forever!

We should also give thanks to God for simply being who He is! He is everything we need to get through life here on earth. Give thanks to God for the blood sacrifice of His Son, Christ Jesus. Give thanks to God for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Give thanks to God for His promises. Thank God for healing, for restoration, for transformation, for financial blessings, for strength, for peace, and for His inexpressible joy! Oh give thanks to the God of heaven!

Have a magnificent Monday and an amazingly blessed week!

One Love,

Valerie

Consistent in the Wrong Thing

Happy Monday to you all!!

Someone drove the word "consistent" in my brain. Though it was not even the subject of the conversation, it resonated with me. I thought to myself, "I am a consistent individual". Then I thought, really? What are you consistent in doing? So, I decided to write them down. As I was writing, I told myself to be honest.

Honesty is the only way you can acknowledge an area of interest and make a change. It doesn't matter what area of life you are inconsistent, be real with yourself. To tell you just how real I was, I made of list of 10 positive/productive and 10 negative/unproductive things I felt I did on a consistent basis. I was truly ashamed of myself. It turns out that I was being consistent in more of the wrong things than things that are pleasing to God. CHANGE was NEEDED!

Now I understand what the scripture means when it says, "You cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and from the cup of demons, too. You cannot eat at the Lord’s Table and at the table of demons, too." - 1 Corinthians 10:21 NLT

What about you? What are you consistent in doing? Make a list and find out if they are more of the right or wrong things.

I pray that you all have a fantastic new week!!  Peace & Love!

One Love,

Valerie
