God's Plans are Fail Proof

Have you ever made plans to do something or go somewhere and end up not doing it or not going? Yes, we can make plans all day long to do what pleases us. We can make plans to hang out with some friends or family but then we end up having car trouble. Or maybe we have planned to take a trip, then something else comes up and we have to cancel our trip. It seems that our plans have the ability to fail.
However, when we consult God about his plans for our lives we find that those plans always come to pass. Because the word of God says in Isaiah 55:11, "So shall My word be that goes forth from my mouth, it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." Over the past several years, I have heard Minister Coriya Falker say many times and learned from my experiences that my plans may fail but God's plans are fail-proof. There's nothing He has spoken that has not occurred from the beginning of time God has spoken and that which He spoke came to be. So I'm leaning on God to lead me. I can't lose with God's plan!

Valerie

"No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God—his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began." 1 Corinthians 2:7 NLT

A Simple Prayer

Good morning! I felt compelled to post a prayer this morning. Give God the glory and enjoy your new day and week!

I pray that your spirit is a joyful one and in a
peaceful state. I pray that God's anointing
rest upon you so that you can fully experience
His presence. I pray that all is well with your
family & that God keeps them protected at all
times. I pray that God gives your
husband/wife a deep desire to get to know
Him. I pray that your sons and daughters
grow to be a blessing to the Kingdom of God
as this will prosper their souls. I pray that all
of your needs are met and that you desires
are God's desires for your life. I pray that God's
angel protect your dwelling. Giving all praise,
honor, worship and glory to Jesus, our Lord
and Savior. Giving a praise of hallelujah to
God for His grace and mercy. May the peace
and favor of God follow you wherever you go.
In Christ Jesus name I pray. Amen

One Love,

Valerie

Uniquely Designed - Words of Encouragement

As women we wear many hats on a daily basis. The question is how do we do it? Well, as a magnificent creation of the Most High God, you were designed that way. You were designed to be the help mate in the relationship, the glue that keeps the family together. You were meant to have the house where all the kids came because they had nowhere else to go. You were meant to go through that storm so you can walk the storms with your sisters. To make a long story short, your strength and wisdom comes from God. He created you! So when things don't seem to be working in the proper order, go to your Creator. He can guide you with the proper instructions.

Be blessed my Sisters in Christ! I encourage you to hold on tight to your faith in God! It is time to believe in His promises for they will come true! I love you all!

One Love,

Valerie

Being Before Doing

Has God placed a gift in You that you’re dying to start working in it? Is there an assignment He’s given you that you are ready to run with? We should take note that there is a process and before we can make a true impact, we must go through it. We can take a look at the life of Ezra. His heart was fully committed to God.
In Ezra 7, we see that “This was because Ezra had determined to study and obey the Law of the Lord and to teach those decrees and regulations to the people of Israel.” Ezra saw fit to first get into the word of God. Before we can act on the assignment or share our spiritual gifts, it would be beneficial for us to model what Ezra did. Here are 3 things to keep in mind regarding the word of God.
Learn it: Ezra studied and discovered the truth himself.
Live it: Ezra practiced and applied what he had learned.
Teach it: Ezra passed on to others what he had already embraced.
God desires to construct our being before our doing!

One Love,

Valerie

It's His Mission B.U.T. He Won't Win

Most of my post are done on Mondays, but for some reason I felt compelled to get something off my heart. This past weekend I literally witnessed a fight in the spirit. When the enemy sees that God's people are uniting to show Him honor and give Him glory, he rears his ugly head and attempts to sabotage by bringing discord. But.Understand.This, the God we serve is All-powerful and All-knowing, He was prepared for the tricks the devil had up his sleeves and planted among us some powerful women of prayer. Let me tell you that the Word of God says "the thief's purpose is to steal, and kill and destroy." (John 10:10) He attempted to kill our spirit and steal our joy. His attempt to destroy what God had brought together did not manifest. Through prayer and praise he was shutdown as quickly as he rose. We serve a mighty God and He gets the glory for fighting a battle only He could win.

You see, it is satan's mission to break us, keep us in bondage to sin and kill our purpose. In hopes that we will join him in hell for eternity. It's his mission, B.U.T, he won't win! Because in the same verse Jesus says, "My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life." Jesus came that we may have this life now here on earth and in eternity! He accomplished that mission on the cross.

Okay, I feel better now that is out! To God be the glory!

Have you ever witnessed a spiritual battle?

One Love,

Valerie

Your Morning Thoughts

Most of us wake up to an alarm that we may snooze more than once. We tend to lie in bed before jumping up to get the day started. While laying there, what do you think about? Do you think about all of the things you have to tackle for the day?
Each morning we wake up, we have a choice to make. That choice is to think about God or think about ourselves. Being honest with yourself, how many of you think about God before you think about your to-do list or that ever so important project with a deadline closing in? How does your day begin? Me? After hitting snooze, since it is closes to me I actually pick up my phone and open the Bible app. I read and share the scripture verse of the day. Then I read and reflect on a daily devotion. Lastly, I pray.
The word of God says' “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.”
‭‭
The choice is yours. Consider all of the things that distracts you and keep your thoughts away from God. It took me a while but I realized if I turn my first thoughts to God, He will guide me and give me wisdom to conquer the to-do list or any project that I may encounter. It’s in His word. God is a promise keeper.

Through the Fire But Not Burned

Let me tell you about a fire I went through. I know some can agree with me when I say it sometimes feel like hell on earth in my life. I was once married and madly in love with my husband. We dated about 5 years before we tied the knot. You couldn’t tell me my husband didn’t love me or that he would cheat on me. Well, I learned then never say never. When I found out about the extra relationship he decided to take on, the chick was pregnant. Plus I knew her, I didn’t know of her, no literally I knew her. I thought we were friends but turns out we were not. Anywho, I was devastated without a doubt. It was like my whole world was shattered and no one could understand. I had given my all and felt there must be something wrong with me. I just knew this relationship was the one to last forever.
Did I try to reconcile with my husband? Yes. Did I pray for my marriage? No and yes. I asked God to change my heart but never to heal my marriage. Could I trust my husband again? No, I could not. I tried really hard to trust him again but I simply couldn’t because I had not forgiven him. My life took a turn down a path that left me depressed and lonely. Going through this fire is where I learned to trust God. I sought out the assistance of a therapist; combined with prayer and my new faith in God I made it out. Today, I can confess that I went through the fire but I’m not burned.
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” - ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Be Still Before God

There comes a moment in everyday that we should be still before the Lord in order to hear from Him. He wants to instruct our next move. But you nor I can hear from Him with all the hustle and bustle of the day. All the noise and chaos can hindered us from following instructions. So, take a moment and be still before God!

One Love,
